AgBio Prof receives early achievement award

Animal and Poultry Science Professor Dr. Karen Schwean-Lardner

College of Agriculture Professor in Animal and Poultry Science was awarded the Poultry Science Association (PSA) Early Achievement Award for Research.  The award was announced today by the PSA from their office in Champaign, IL by the PSA President Valerie L. Carney.

The Early Achievement Award for Research is given to recognize the achievements of PSA members in the early stages (first 6 years of a faculty position) of their careers (first 6 years of a faculty position) in poultry research. The award emphasizes accomplishments, major discoveries, collaborations, and funding sources.
