Improving the use of renewable resources to provide safe and accessible food for humans and animals, as well as sustainable sources of nutrients, pharmaceuticals, and fuels required to meet the demands of a healthy and growing world population. Our scientists are improving feed processing and quality of food, and harnessing microbial resources while developing innovative ways to ensure efficient use of our agricultural by- and co-products.
