Our college's interactive booth (#328) will feature a soil pit, 'Ask a Researcher' sessions, presentations, alumni stickers, photo opportunities, drones, info on academic programs and more!

At our college booth (#328) we're offering daily 'Ask a Researcher' sessions where you can drop in and chat with AgBio faculty and students on special topics. The popular soil pit presentations are back as well! Join us for a presentation and then explore the soil pit yourself!

Our AgBio faculty and students are proud to be involved in a variety of official Ag in Motion activities outside of our college booth! 

The activities listed below will be held all three days of Ag in Motion (July 18-20). Visit the official Ag in Motion map for help finding the various locations.

9:30 - 10 am – Drone demonstration emceed by AgBio MSc student Kaylie Krys and Dr. Steve Shirtliffe. Location: The drone demo area near the corner of Saskatchewan Drive and 7th street at Ag in Motion.


10 – 11:30 am
– Discovery Farm 'Off the Beaten Path' research tour led by AgBio PhD student Blake Weiseth. Location: Meet at booth #706.


1 – 1:30 pm
– Dynamic Speaker Series: Choosing Forage Blends “For the Love of Forages: Evaluating Forage Blends for Your Operation”. Young alumni David MacTaggart (MSc’ 23) is one of the presenters. Location: Union Forage Booth #S9.


1:30 – 2 pm
– Dynamic Speaker Series: Grazing Management “Grazing for Gains: Maximizing Your Pasture Potential”. Dr. Bree Kelln is one of the presenters. Location: Range Ward Booth #LS23.


2 – 2:30 pm

3:30 - 5:30 pm - Cultivating Connections event hosted by SaskYoung Ag. Check out this networking event and meet Dr. Angela Bedard-Haughn (Dean and Professor), Mary Stirling (Student Recruitment Advisor) and many more mentors across the ag industry. Registration is required for this event.
