Thistles and Their Friends

Gardening General

2-hour online class. Often maligned as mere weeds, there are a surprising number of thistles that are useful for feeding both pollinators and songbirds. Members of the daisy family, many thistles are well-behaved and garden worthy and can provide beauty with their flowers and interesting form and structure with their foliage. If you have never considered the thistles as garden plants, perhaps it is time to reconsider and examine them more closely!

$20 plus GST for a 2 hour, live-streamed class. Registration is for a single student in one household. If multiple students will be viewing from the same location, each additional student is $10. Course fees are non-refundable. Class times are in Saskatchewan time - CST, no daylight savings.

Registration closes one hour before the class starts. Register here or email us at conference.events@usask.ca. Office hours are 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and any emails after this time will be answered the next business day.
