Waste Disposal
Waste Management is offering online training for waste disposal.
Waste disposal is taken care of by Safety Resources (Waste Management). Follow the instructions below to dispose of any waste chemicals or biologicals.
Chemical Waste
Visit USask's Knowledge Base for information on Hazardous Waste Management and to complete the disposal forms.
Once you have documented and inventoried onto their online form, please submit it.
Once sent, Waste Management will reply via email. A reference # is generated and this email must be printed and attached to waste containers or boxes.
Bring your waste down to the Stores and place it in the back of room 1E28.1. An orange waste chemical sticker will need to be applied with all information (these labels are stored in the chemical storage room 1E28.1) you may take a couple for future waste disposal.
Do not leave areas on these stickers blank, Waste Management needs all the information for proper cross-reference and disposal.
Waste Management will stop by once or twice per month and pick up the waste.
