By Brett Makulowich

Discover the USask College of Agriculture and Bioresources (AgBio) at Ag in Motion on July 18 – 20, 2023! Ag in Motion is the largest outdoor farm expo in Western Canada, located at Discovery Farm Langham.  Visit our college’s interactive booth (#328) and check off the items below for the best experience.

1. Ask a researcher! We’re offering daily Ask a Researcher’ sessions where you can drop in and chat with AgBio faculty and students on special topics. The topics include Agronomy and Crop Protection (Tues. July 18), Soil Health and Nutrient Management (Wed. July 19), and Livestock and Forage (Thurs. July 20).

2. Explore the soil pit. Join us for a soil pit presentation and then go into the soil pit yourself to explore. We’re offering a different soil pit presentation every day of Ag in Motion.

3. Get your alumni sticker. Wear your AgBio pride on your sleeve with our exclusive alumni stickers. We also have special future alumni stickers for the next generation.

4. Take a selfie with a wild boar!
It’s the hottest souvenir of Ag in Motion! A selfie with our very own wild boar. We will also have other photo opportunities at the booth with various equipment.

5. Connect with a student recruiter. Chat with our student recruiter and current students to get first-hand knowledge of the hands-on learning experiences available with the College of Agriculture and Bioresources.

6. Soar to new heights. Learn about our new Certificate in Precision Agriculture and take a look at a few of our college drones.

7. Check out activities outside the booth. Our AgBio faculty and students are proud to be involved in a variety of official Ag in Motion activities outside of our college booth. Wherever you may be at Ag in Motion, most likely there is an AgBio alumni, faculty or student involved!

8. Share your favourite college moments. Tag @agbiousask and use #AIM23 on Twitter and Instagram.
