About the SAGE Project

Soil and Agroecosystem Health Project

We work with First Nations across the prairies to share knowledge of soil and agroecosystem health from Indigenous and western science perspectives. Our team offers free workshops and learning opportunities tailored to your community needs and interests, on topics ranging from soil health and agricultural beneficial management practices to community food sovereignty, traditional plant medicines and foods, buffalo rematriation, and more. We want our work to help achieve the goals and vision for your community and the land with respect to agriculture and food sovereignty!
