Publications

The Flora of Saskatchewan project is a continuing work to publish a complete collection of guidebooks and taxonomic keys for all the plants of Saskatchewan. This comprehensive, up to date, and Saskatchewan focused publication is managed by the Flora of Saskatchewan Association (FOSA), who work with the authors and local botanists and to publish fascicles related to plant groups or families of the province. There are currently six fascicles in print with a seventh on the way. The W.P. Fraser herbarium is a major source of information for this project as we have the majority of the species used for the project along with many specimens being scanned for use in the books. Copies of these books can be found at local bookstores or directly from the Nature Saskatchewan store page.

Throughout the W.P. Fraser herbarium's history it has been primarily utilized and supported by the curator and their students and staff, it also acts as a repository and source of information for many other projects conducted by researchers at the U of S, and abroad. This is a list of the last few years of publications that have worked with the herbarium in varying degrees of capacity.
