As a research technician, Michael enjoys his time mixing feed for all the IRC trials at the Canadian Feed Research Centre in North Battleford, assisting with all data and sample collections, tabling statistics, completing lab analyses and encouraging the graduate students to keep on task and do their best.
Michael completed a M.Sc. in Toxicology and Animal and Poultry Science at the University of Saskatchewan in 2015 under the supervision of Drs. Tom Scott and Mark Wickstrom. His project evaluated the preformance and immunological effects of Fusarium mycotoxins in a poultry model. His prior work experiences include employment with Novozymes Biologicals Ltd. and three years working as a research technician/lab manager at the U of S Toxicology Centre.
