J.M. Bell Lectureship Series

In 1998 the Department of Animal and Poultry Science created the J.M.Bell Memorial Fund with the objective to sponsor a J.M. Bell Distinguished Lecturer at the annual Western Nutrition Conference. Prominent animal nutritionists and feedstuff development experts from the around the world will be invited to lecture at the conference
Dr. J.M. Bell was a member of the faculty of the Department of Animal and Poultry Science from 1948 to 1989. Dr. Bell was an international authority on swine nutrition and demonstrated outstanding ability as a researcher, teacher, planner and co-ordinator in the field of nutritional research.
